Drawing on her significant track record and over 20 years’ experience in executive search in the healthcare sector, Virginie Lleu founded the L3S Partnership in 2010, with the goal to make it into one of the leading life sciences search firms in Europe.
Previously, Ms Lleu was Managing Director of Life Science Search (L2S), an executive search firm, specialising in healthcare, that she founded in 2003. L2S assisted international pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology and medical device companies, start-ups and public agencies in various search roles with a focus on undertaking searches for Senior Executive and Expert positions in France and Europe. Ms Lleu grew the business into one of France’s top search firms, leading to its eventual acquisition by Whitehead Mann (WHM) and subsequently by Korn Ferry International.
Ms Lleu started her career as a neuro-psychologist with leading teaching hospitals in Paris, France. Subsequently, she was appointed Human Resources Manager in charge of recruitment within a major French pharmaceutical company.
Ms Lleu then worked as a recruitment consultant specialising in the healthcare area, initially with firms focused on middle-management selection, and later with Korn Ferry International, then Spencer Stuart in Paris. She made a significant contribution to the growth and development of these firms in a number of areas, including biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry. Her assignments included most corporate functions such as HR, Finance, R&D, Business Development, Marketing and Sales, as well as more specialised positions, such as Market access and Regulatory positions, and general management positions, including CEO roles.
Ms Lleu has a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology and is an accredited coach with the renowned Alter & Coach institute. She is bilingual in French and English.
